Okay so Im trying to make a map where theres a fan on the bottom and there are some catwalks over it. Whats the best way to have a trigger_push there to push people up but NOT when they are on the catwalks, like only when they are directly over the fan?

You can make the trigger push out of multiple brushes, then tie them all together as a trigger_push.

Brushes in the trigger_push should fill all the area around the catwalks. That's it.

Just make trigger pushes around the catwalk.

Like this.

The red is where you'll put your trigger_push, while the black is the catwalk.

yeah im trying that but its pretty hard because the catwalks are rotated so their not snapped to the grid. There are 2 diffrent levels of the catwalks and they are also not exactly on top of eachother. See the problem?

You can use vertex manipulation (Shift+V) on the trigger push brushes to shape them correctly. You don't have to have them all lock together perfectly, as long as you touch any part of a trigger_push brush it will push you. You just need to (mostly) fill in the space with push-ness.
