ok when i open the mapname.bat file and it loads everything than opens cs ic ant find my map in teh maplist  .....help?

ok, open ur cs folder and open up maps and drag ur map file into that folder, run cs, play it.
YAY, FIRST CS HELP IVE EVER GIVIN!

Well anyway....
You need to move the .BSP file to your maps folder, not the .MAP file.
Also, if the compile had a problem, you'd need to fix that first.

yea like when you download a map from a site it gives you the .bsp file i dont think you would need the .map file
if im wrong about the .map file then correct me plx

The .map and .rmf files are just for editing the map in Hammer. When you play the map you need the .bsp.
The compilers use the .map to build the .bsp.
