i think its the last thing i need to know until im finally done!

how do u make certain walls and boxes hollow, so u can like shoot threw them. but i dont want them to like explode when u shoot them, i want u to just be able to wall threw them

ya no how u can shoot through walls.. how i make my walls liketht, and also how u can shoot threw a box and hit the other person on the other side without it breaking.. how u do tht!?

Regular brushes never break. And you can shoot through any brush, as long as it is ONE BRUSH. You cannot shoot through 2 walls that have air in between them.

No. Half-Life & mods let bullets through ONE wall.

BTW, hollow brushes are bullet proof because you'd be shooting at two walls with air between.

and the shoottrough wall shouldn't be to wide cause weapons will shoot trough walls but only till a certain amount

if you want a wall that you can shoot trough from any distance and with any weapon ( and that isn't invisible )

try this

make a wall and put "Clip" texture on it ( this will make the brush invisible and let you shoot trough it , but doesn't let players go trough )

then copy that wall so you have 2 walls like that ( these 2 are invisible)

then put another wall between them with a normal texture on it
press Ctrl+T to make it an entity ,
now select func_illusionary from the list .

so you need :
2 clip-textured walls ( should be thin ) and in the midle of them a normal-textured wall that is a func_illusionary

this will stop players , but you can trow grenades and shoot trough it , and you won't be able to see trough / walk trough it


HINT: make sure not to have air between them
