To my knowledge we are only running low on apostrophes. As for the other punctuation signs, I was lead to believe that we have a plethora.

That's something that can't be true o.e if the (')s were almost gone im ganna have to like stop having words in my sentences like can't... and shouldn't and couldn't and wouldn't and yeah so on and so on
