in value i tried cl_des or des but nothing working. i the top i see black skie

OK. You want the field in Map->Map Properties called cl_skyname or Environment Map

You have to enter a valid name, like one of these:

backalley
badlands
blue
city1
des
drkg
forest
green
grnplsnt
morningdew
office
snow
snowlake_

yes, i write drkg and when i started map i dont see background! i tried office and des and nothing working! im sure im starting in the outside because i creating space arena!

Upload your .map or .rmf file.

There is no WAD for backgrounds/sky textures.

Are you using the SKY texture in your map? Backgrounds only show up where you use SKY as the exterior wall/floor/ceiling.

SKY is just a placeholder, it is NOT how it will look in the game.

Yes. remember you have to make your map air-tight like in my tutorial AND NONE OF THE BEER SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET OUT.

Then put SKY on the walls where you want to see the background/sky/whatever.

put sky how? u talking about sky texture?i dont see background but i tried very much backgrounds! JUST MAKE MY SPACEARENA.MAP WITH BACKGROUND AND UPLOAD UPDATED!
