hi,

I want to edit my counter-strike.gcf but GCFScape wont allow me to drop or import any files/folders(i can only extract the existing contents).
How can this be done?

Thanks a bunch!

DO NOT CHANGE THE GCF FILES!!

Luckily, there is no program that will let you do that. The GCFs are Steam's cache and if you change them, your games will break. Also, when Steam updates games (which happens ALL the time) it will overwrite your changes, or worse, corrupt the whole cache.

You just have to place your custom files in the regular old filesystem, that's the only option you have.
