How do I port my 1.6 maps to cs-source??

Can you please give me detailed instructions on how to port my 1.6 map to cs-source?? Like how to open it in source. Or do I have to totaly redo everything?? Thank you for your time.

Well I don't really remember how I got contra ported. But I think it went something like this:

1. Open Hammer: Source
2. Open old map
3. Retexture everything and fix entity problems

ok i figured it out. I had to open the .map file. It wouldnt open the rmf.
Thanks for the help. btw contra is a great map. And I also like salt2. Nice work.

ok, ive installed valve hammer editor v3.4 SDK
