Since Hammer don't let the user to put the windows or etc in the perfect place in which he wants to ... i made a box and made it hollow, Then the copy-pasted the the blocks up and down so thats how i perfectly was able to make a window like box placed into the middle of the wall but now the problem is that i want to make it invisible ... for that i would have to make it into one block ... is there any way to make the those different boxes into one block ? or do i have to click every box to function as a window or to change its texture?

You can select multiple brushes by holding down CTRL and then left-clicking the brushes in the camera-view.

What!? I don't think you've learned to use Hammer properly. Or could you explain this in more detail?

when i make a map ... for example ... im working on map for cs 1.6 parallel to that of my house ... when i try to make walls, i can not manually set the width for them ... i can only make them without any width (just the face and back) or i can set its width to "one box in the prepaired graphs in hammer" which is much broad for doors ... i tried to make box hollow and then work a thin door out of it but its too messy .. (if u ever had done it you would know)
Im still waiting for answers of my questions above !

This'll leave you with a sloppy map (and possibly leaks!).
Keep the Snap To Grid, but change the grid size (press [ or ] keys).

Read the tutorial for doors. Windows are func_breakable brushes with a suitable glasslike texture, usually a blue colour with render mode set to something and the amount fairly low. I think it's solid, yeah, set to solid.

Down Rodeo said: Sliding door - make a func_door.
Rotating door - read the tutorial's "advanced" section.
Glass - Make a brush, apply a blue-ish texture. Make the brush func_breakable. In it's properties, set Render Mode to TEXTURE and FXamount to 50.

I might not be able to tell people how to do things in Hammer but I can correct misplaced apostrophes.
