Error: Exceeded MAX_LEAF_FACES

I'm sorry I don't haev time to look at your map THERE JUST ISN'T TIME!!

MAX_LEAF_FACES probably means you have an area with too many brush faces.

Here's what tommy has to say:
Quote:
Max_leaf_faces
You have gone over a limit similar to max patches error, but by BSP creating too many leaf faces for VIS to handle - probably due to "shattering" of a brush. Did you carve a complex brush (like a cylinder) or intersect it with another brush?

What do you mean by: I might have too many brush faces?

This map now only has 4 walls, 2 ceilings and one sky. Theres nothing else besides 2 player entities. I also put the whole map into a hollowed out box just incase.

Well I don't know then.

It sounds like you just shouldn't be getting this error.

If I were you I would just start over with a new map -- it sounds like you don't have a lot done anyway. Maybe something about your map is corrupted and not visible.

I went and tried to get help on Verc Collective forums. It turns out it was the way i was building the building. I had double walls. As in 2 thin layers of brushes('walls') placed one next to each other to make the map size smaller instead of having full blocks of brushes. (I know i can carve brushes out but still its not what i wanted, but at the end thatts what i ended up with:( ha) O well, good enough.
So thanks to everyone who tried helping me out with this, especially SuperJer but now ive got a different problem, haha. Its a Bad surface extents problem (AGAIN) but this time its proving to be quite a bit harder to solve. Ill post a new 'Truck' in Hammers and Mallets if ppl can have a look and give me there suggestions that would be nice!

Thanks!

This ought to help.

To be fair it looks like he searched for it to try to find an answer rather than making a whole new truck. It's the ones that try to answer questions asked two years ago that annoy me...
