can you tell me how to add .wads in to my hammer i have one and i put it in my hammer and when i run the map it sees something like cant open dust2.wad or the name of the wad pls help me

You may need to include your wads into your .BSP file.

Change your compile script and add the bold part:

hlcsg -nowadtextures mapname
hlbsp mapname
hlvis mapname
hlrad mapname
...
