Coding the bits of a game engine without any visual gratitude is like sitting in math class for 5 hours straight. It sucks. How does one motivate themselves to keep working on a project like this?

True, but I've done this part already like 5 times, I just keep coming back to it because the old versions always have some fundimental flaw. It gets annoying after a while, ya know?
