If I tick the flag One Way, that makes the door open in the same direction regardless of the player's position, right? So how do I set which way the door will rotate?
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

Isn't there a flag to reverse the direction?

well yes but that makes it open towards the player so the direction again depends on the position of the pl... oh you mean if I tick both flags?
Hmmm... that could work, I'll have to try it out when I have the chance.

I found out that the one way flag actually doesn't do what I thought it does. It actually makes it so that if you open the door from one side it becomes unopenable from the other -__-

Really? That's interesting...

Well, what you want is for the door to open only in one direction no matter what side you are opening it from? Ha! There is a flag called One-Way! I just opened Hammer and there it was!

No, you can open it from both sides. On one of the sides the door will open away from you and on the other side it will open inwards against you.

I made a test map and opened it from one side, it opened towards me. I went to the other side and couldn't open it.

Ah sorry, I think you're right about the "One way"-flag, it can only be opened from one side. My bad!

Not sure off the top of my head, but you can try triggering the door with a trigger_multiple (or whatever) instead of on touch.

Then set the rotation amount to 90 or -90 to get it to go the way you want.

I think that's how I've done it before but it was a looooong time ago.
