First time mapping - Help

I made a map, which failed due to leak. So I made a box to know if I am going wrong. Upon compilation, it shows this:

hlvis: Error: Portal file 'boxonly.prt' does not exist, cannot vis the map

What does it mean? What do I do?

If the .prt doesn't exist, then BSP did not work.

There should be another more specific error message from BSP.

As DR said, post the log.
