whenever i push alt + enter on a selected wall, object it doesnt give me the options like it used to. the option to create func_ladder etc.

never mind i feel like an idiot. ctrl + t. i get it now. now how do i make lights you can turn off and on with a switch or something?

Create a light and give it a name. Then create a func_button and set it to target the light.

the light "botton" i made does not work and for some reason it moves from side to side. actually i made 2 bottons. one works for t side and the other for ct doesnt at all. they both move from side to side

in the func_button's properties got to " flags " section i think there is a checkbox there "don't move" or something ( don't have hammer )
and if your button doesn't turn on the light be sure:
1 you named the light
2 in the buttons properties make sure the the lights name is in the "target" area
3 the light isn't touching a slid object cause it won't work then

got the switch working but you have to push it like 5 times for it to work :(

have to press it five times ??? .
wait you mite have set " delay before trigger " or something in the buttons properties set it to 0

or it cold just be lagg ? or you not standing close enough .. if it works then it works , it can't "not work completely" it either works or not

EDIT: try setting "toggle" in flags like Edan said
