Yes, that was basically the case... Recording with the microphone of a MacBook in my basement can't result in a better piece. But that was all we could do for now.

My microphone is pretty kick ass. Its Logitech should look into it. I got it for about 20 bucks i think. it picks up my family two rooms away and good quality. I would talk on skype and my friends could easily hear my folks.
