Thanks, that did it. Turns out I created another map with the same name before that one, and this one tried to use the old .nav file, which obviously caused problems.

OK, I made a brush that should be the door, put a small brush with the origin texture next to it, selected both, right-clicked, selected "Tie to Entity", made it "func_door_rotating", set it to 90 degrees.
Compiled and ran. The door is at a weird 90-degree angle from the start, and when I try and "open" it, it creaks and tilts to a strange direction. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong... please help me! User
The tutorial on Superjer says I need to use the "ORIGIN" brush. Where can I find this brush?

It's the official CS Bot Version 1.50
The map isn't too complicated at all. It's just a single room with a wall inbetween and some boxes. Could it be that the map simply is too small? Truck

Oh and at least 1 bot has to be present in the game for this to work. Still doesn't work. It just restarts and the bots still act as if they have an IQ of -30. Truck

I created quite a small map, and when I start it the bots just run / jump around senselessly and don't really try to find the enemy at all or something. They just run back and forth. Why is this happening?

Hi,
I compiled a map and it seemed to work, but when I run the .bat file, counterstrike opens, but then shuts down again. Same thing happens when I try to manually run the map. Can someone please help me? Thanks. |
