I am still having the same issues with the use button, but after removing the entity name I can now open the door with out a use button and it works from both sides.

I have made a new board. I put only a door in it and a ct entity. I am using counter strike fgd provided with hammer, and the halflife.wad. When I build the door and run the map I cannot open the door with out specifying use only. I have also turned on the one way flag and turned it back off just in case it was stuck.

I can create a door that opens, letting me into a room. Once I am inside and the door closes I have to walk up to the door and turn a way and then use the ""use button to open the door. If I just try to open the door normally it won't open. I am sure that I have done something stupid.
