Rockbomb said: One thing I just noticed, is that if you go to a page with a really long name, it makes the tab take up like half of the browser width. So whenever you get to makin the tabs (usin the image I made + puttin the close tab/new tab buttons with the tabs), you hsould make it a fixed tab size.
I will do that.
I jus' realised that I am using Opera and Firefox, when I have my own web browser. What better way to test it than to actually use it?

Last I heard (which was last night), sprinkles was gonna completely start over, so he could give more structure/sensibility so the code.
@Sprinkles - Are you gonna release a beta of that html editor?

Yes, I am going to release the HTML Editor. However, it isn't that complex of an application (i.e. not many things can go wrong other than an IO exception), so I think a beta version is a waste of time.
Also, I am working on WhiteBird from scratch so I don't have time to work on the HTML Editor.
Furthermore, since I am structuring my code better I don't think it is necessary to create a stand-alone HTML Editor (though I may in the future -after WhiteBird's completion).

Sprinkles, Youtube bullies WhiteBird .
"Your browser is no longer supported.
Please upgrade to a modern browser."
"No longer"? I find that interesting.
Today's post brought to you by the letter: "heck".

Could be that youtube jus 'upgraded' their site.
Thanks for the information.
But since WhiteBird is based off the System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser class which is, essentially, IE 6; I can see why that would happen.
I'll look into it.

Don't panic!
After college (um 3-6 years maybe) I will be 'pro' enough to make my own Web Browser class and everything will be better than Humpty Dumpty.
Don't you jus' love waiting?

Absolutely. OTOH you could use something like Webkit or Gecko at the moment, if you felt like it. Steam's moved to Webkit :)

Isn't that what most people do?
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

Well, in some sense you already are, no? Because if you are using IE 6 as your base renderer then surely you'd have no qualms about swapping it out for something, well, better. Frankly. Internet Explorer is a very poorly-written piece of sh- software.

I don't consider using the web browser class (that is IE 6) as my 'competitors' work. This is simply because I am promoting the Windows OS. I am using things only compatible with Windows (Windows 7 API, .Net Framework).
Although I do plan to use Chrome's V8 javascript engine.

To answer cloud's question, yes that is a lot like the speed dial in Chrome and Opera; but its even better.
