i just created a map and after running test1.bat (test1 is map's name) I didnt get mapname.err but got test1.err. Here is what is says:

hlcsg: Error: Could not open wad file \arquivos de programas\valve\cstrike\cstrike.wad

hlcsg: Error: Could not find WAD file
Description: The compile tools could not locate a wad file that the map was referencing.
Howto Fix: Make sure the wad's listed in the level editor actually all exist

The thing is im 100% sure the "cstrike.wad" is in that folder. What should i do?

The reason you don't get mapname.err is the... never mind.

When you say that you are pretty certain, have you actually checked?

First, you have a mapname.err because your map's name is test1 and you have a test1.err. In other words, 'test1' is your maps name, hence 'mapname'.

On to the error. Move your ZHLT folder (with its* contents) to the same drive CS is on.
If your Counter-Strike folder is on (C:), move ZHLT to that same drive.
