Well when i try to play my brand new map it says i dont have valve.wad and i dont!
but i dont remember usingit if i dont have it? and cant seem to find it anywhere..

u never used it that was cstrike.wad and try going into search and searching my computer for the file. if its not there go on google and search for the file u can get it there.

well thats not good couse i cant play my map without the valve.wad

It sounds like you accidentally told Hammer to load valve.wad even though it doesn't exist.

See if you can remove it from the textures list in Tools->Options->Textures tab in Hammer.

If not, then something is very wrong with Hammer. Try re-installing it.
