Texture Problem? Long Compiling in VisBuildTextures.

I have a relatively small map.
It is Surf map.
Its 48,000 Patches.
But when I get to compiling,
From Buildfacelights - Swaptransfers.
It takes 2 hours.
When I AAATrigger it takes 4 minutes to compile.
But crashes when I try to play ingame.
Any ideas?
Oh yea, all my textures are 32x16

Some general tips:

-Optimize your brushwork.
-Scale up textures.
-Tie complex geometry like cylinders to func_wall.
-Apply NULL-texture to all unseen faces.
