Hmmm. Obvious link-farm-link in siggy. IP says India. Unique on-topic broken-English pointless content.

Prognosis: This is a guy paid to get links on forums by pretending to "be a part of the community."

Too bad I changed his link to point to horseporn.net already. Also, all user-supplied links on here get nofollow automatically.

I'm not really sure the best way to handle this. How often does this happen?

Well, when I said, "these bots", I kinda, might, maybe, have only seen one. Recently anyway, there have been others who were just removed by mad admin skillz. So it doesn't happen that often. I think you should bring back the mandatory monkey interest, if only because I liked my interest to be "Monkeys. No, really."

nofollow links tell Google and other crawlers to ignore them.

So if you post a spam link on here, it won't help your spam page's Google rank.

However, it is totally up to Google (and other crawlers) to decide what to do with a nofollow link.

Ask.com ignores it, the others seem to follow it but don't page rank it. Google won't index it unless it's already indexed and say they don't follow. They totally do though.
