So after squishing my wad i've come across the road of needing objects in my map. I've put one two one two. A desk and couch etc (which has checkered materials) but i need more objects and guns would be nice too to lay on the floor. GUNS GUNS GUNS. Any help would result in massive amounts of extreme happiness and joy.

A little tamer note would say: I have put in 1 or 2 elements which show up with the wrong texture. Where can I access more objects than the few that come with the hammer editor?
Thanks
Ed

Yeah, generally speaking, you can expect a reply within a day. But sometimes not. Wait, I've forgotten the question. No wait you want armoury_entities for the guns.

Yeah, guns placed on the floor are armoury_entity.
About the "stuff". When using the Brush Tool, take a look at prefabs (bottom-right side of the screen, 'Categories').
And yeah, your posted 3-5 minutes apart, no-ones gonna answer that quick...

You wonderful marvellous hammer mapping mofo's. I dig ya all. So i'm using Hammer 3.5 and there are no categories to choose from.
I choose the entities button. On the bottom right all I have is (enteties) then unter the Objects list I don't have anything but env_ Info_ trigger_ elements. No Desks, or doors, glass etc.

Sorry, and under my brushes i have very limited objects that have a checkered texture in game. I'm downloading some prefabs from the fpsbananna land and will use some of them too. I think my version of Hammer is very limited in comparison to version 4 yes?
I would also love a head start on making breakable glass windows? Start with normal square brush then apply a glass texture?

Make it a func_breakable. Change the following in its properties:
1) Material = glass
2) Render Mode = texture
3) FX amount = anything from 0 to 255 (0 is invisible; 255 means the window is fully-textured)

I think most of the prefabs that comes with Hammer use textures from halflife.wad, so make sure you got that wad added in Hammer when using the default prefabs.
