hey how do i make a sliding door, but not one thats facing up like | that i want a door that slides and is facing down like ___. cus i put a trap door and a lot of hostages but when the doors open they dont fall, or sometimes it doesnt even open.

You can set it's direction by going to properties, and then change the direction circle in the top right corner. The direction you set will be the direction when looking in the "TOP" view.
