i dont know if you know where the wad files are but...ehh i want to know

trying to find maps place said:

any Valve game that is based on the Source engine, including Half Life 2, Portal, Counterstrike and even Team Fortress 2.

The wad files are in the .gcf files in the steamapps folder. Try the program gcfscape to get at them.

SO i got hammer on my labtop
got the map im making
redid all the texturs
and then i wanted to add entitys but for some reason there is none, theres a butten but wen i go to the drop down menu theres nothing

You probably need a Portal FGD file. I do not really know anything about Portal mapping, but it should be a part of the SDK stuff.
