When i try to put lights from the objects list, instead of a purple square thing the instructions described, a light bulb is appears, when i press ALT+Enter the properties come up but, when i am content with the color and i don't mess with the brightness i close the object properties and compile the map and play, but still no lights??? LOL I need help!

y probably didnt run rad
but maybe the maps SO bright that u cant tell the differnce between fullbright and ur lights lol

Look through your compile log, maybe you got a LEAK or another error?

Nope, and i am saying that of i even try to put a light there the purple thing wont appear on my camera only on the other views, only
a light bulb comes up.

That is supposed to be that way.
Do you mean that you cannot see the light bulb in-game?

kk now i no atleast the light bulb thing is supposed to come up but i still cannot get it to work, do i leave the angle at 0?

Is your problem
1) ...that you have no lights (a dark map)?
2) ...that you do not see the lightbulbs when you play your map?

OK. I see you said you changed the light's properties; did you change the brightness?

Nah i just followed the steps with the light and press the ALT+ENTER, the window came up but i didnt press anything

hi i just started maping and i have problem.
I have everything finished and my env light is placed but when I play the map my screen is black and i cant see anything.
also i have keept everything for the light properties the same and i have no error messages when compileing. please help!
