My ladders dont show up even though i put ladder texture

My ladders dont show up. This is my method. I select one of the ladder textures, size it to the appropriate shape, and then Ctrl + T and chose func_ladder. Shouldn't the ladder show up in game?

you also need to have a solid with CLIP texture in the same exact place as that and a AAAtrigger texture in front of the ladder texture, the AAATRIGGER is what has the func ladder, the ladder texture itself should have func transparent

func_ladder is ALWAYS invisible. It is only the 'zone' where you can climb.

You need to make the visible ladder seperately.
