Map starts after compiling in VHE, but ..........

Hello,
I have this strange problem u see, the map that i am building is pretty large, but it copiles in 2-3 min. After thats done the map starts automaticly in CS 1.6 and so far so good.
Problem: when i later whant to play the map, it wont start at all ??

Strange !!
Any ideas ?!

You need to copy the file into your maps folder, which iirc should be '.../Counter-Strike/cstrike/maps'.

I´ve allready done that and it did not work, it says something about " theres no info_player_starts " .......
But i do have player starts.
When i try to start the map, the game starts another map instead.

Make sure you have an info_playerstart instead of info_playerdeathmatch. By default it only checks for info_playerstart.

Can you post a compile log for your map, please?
It's possible there could be a leak, in which case it wouldn't recognize your entities.

If there was a leak the map wouldn't compile at all.

Hmmm...i think i know whats the problem is.
U see, first i made the whole map with several and different blocks and texture ( func_wall). After that, i sellected everything on the map and turned it in to SKY ( sky texture ) after that i added the textures to only the side of an object that the player can see.
However, in that opperation even the info_player_starts turned into SKY, after i deleted the old info_player..... and made some new....IT works fine
