when running my map through hammer because trying to run by click mapname.bat in folder dosnt work, i get three pop ups asking if i want to continue and i say yes and it keeps going . the three errors where, "invalid arguement" and "the system can not find the file specified"
here is what comes up while trying to run

You might well have the file but the program cannot get access to the folders that it's in. Thus, don't use hammer- use the ZHLT which are operated from the command line. This is why you create a batch file.

ZHLT opens up as a folder right., cuz i downloaded of the instruction site bu superjer and when i open its a folder with files in which, some are two of my maps which when i double click on my map files in ZHLT one is a MAP file and the other is a MAX file, for example, one looks like random.map and the oher is random.max. the map one when double clicked opens up like this in notepad {
"classname" "worldspawn"
"MaxRange" "4096"
"mapversion" "220"
"wad" "\program files\steam\steamapps\cstrike\cstrike.wad"
{
( -128 256 0 ).....and so on

and the max file when double clicked ssays windows cannot open this file blah blah blah what do you want to do .use web or select a program to open it so i select note pad and it opens up just like the map file

Ummm did you extract the files from ZHLT.zip?

There will be a few executables in there. Make sure that the bat file points to them. And there should be few problems, in theory.

post the contents of your .bat file ( i say this a lot but it actually does help us understand the problems your having )

oh and make sure that everything important is on the same drive .

EG : zhtl , mapname.map,bat and stuff should be in the same place ( like drive . C , D , E ; omg )
