Making maps for 2 Games

So i wanna make maps for Half life and for counterstrike

But... How i can i map for both games without messing it up?

Or should i have 2 versions of hammer editor?

You only need 1 Hammer to do that. You can set up multiple game configs in Hammer's settings.

The only difference between mapping for CS and mapping for HL is the FGD file you use.
