Looks like you have too many entities in your map?

How many you got? Try Map->Entity Report.

That error really just means HL ran out of memory while trying to load entities.

It is hard for me to narrow down why that would happen.

How much RAM do you have? And how much memory are the background programs on your computer using?

Also, what kinds of entities are you using? Some entities use more memory than others.

This error is computer specific, i.e. if I load the map on my computer, I may not get it, even though you do.

Save a backup of your map, remove all the game_player_equips, and run that.

If it still crashes, you know it's NOT the game_player_equips.


This can take a long time but it is a good method to find out what's causing the crash.
