how to change resolution?

how to change resolution to 1366x768? its possible: thats th defalut setting and i dont know what i does but now its 1027x626 or something like that. Ihat is on all my HL engine games

If you can't change it in the video settings in the game, then you can use the -x and -y launch options I think.

In the advanced options for the game on steam you can set them to
-x 1366 -y 768
Or something like that anyway.

As far as I know the menu options don't allow you to select "non-standard" resolutions in Gold Source games. OTOH as Superjer said you might be able to get it to do it with the launch options (though isn't it -w and -h?).

Normally I'd agree, but with Valve you can never tell. Its probably -yettimonster -bobthebobslayer, I mean its Valve.

I'm not sure. It's somewhere after you right click on the game in your games list and then click more stuff.

Then make a shortcut to the game, edit it, and add the -x -y stuff to the end of the command.

You're probably going to have to try a few different things because none of us are sure how to do it.
