Texture or brushes shaped like letters I'm afraid. If that's the kind of thing you mean.

Nope, never played them.
When you ask about making the weapons, what exactly do you mean?

armory_entity is your one for the weapons. And it sounds like you want brush-based text.

Well brush-based isn't a texture. It is text, made from brushes. If you don't know what brushes are start again :p
Basically, if you wanted an 'I' you would create a single long thin brush etc. You can change the grid size (allowing you to snap to smaller distances) using [ and ].

Yea, but if you decide not to then you can make your own textures, which is really not that hard, you just need a program called Wally WAD, and the picture you want to use, so you can make a brush in the air, then apply the texture to it. You can go into paint or something, and use the text thing to make a picture saying map made by:..... If you are going to do this then tell me for more info if needed

i was to lazy to read all of it
but to make a text appear like outa nowhere floating
use a game_text , in its properties ( alt+enter) write what you want it to say .
you also need to trigger it ..
eg: use a trigger_multiple , name your game_text ( properties/name )
something like "text1"
then in the trigger_multiple's properties in the "target" area write the game_text's name
and put the trigger multiple ( you can put more not just 1 ) somewhere in the path of the player
cause trigger multiple triggers its target once a player touches it
you know like in 35_hp ( if you played that ) a text appears and it says " you only have 1 stab use it wisely "
thats done by having a game_text and just putting the triggers right in front of the spawnpoints
Wtf is that ? its a bird ! no its a plane ! amm maybe its a plastic bag . NO ! its SUPERJER ! the greatest super hero ever!
