when i click the .bat file it runs the command, good huh? but then it sez "so and so" is not a valid win32 application.

did you edit it in notepad ? or just named it whatever.bat ? http://www.superjer.com/learn7.php

What is "so and so"? That's the important bit; I'd suggest that you make sure all the commands in your bat file are correct and that all the paths are pointing to the correct places.
