help with .bat

help with .bat

I created many awesome maps but i just can't compile them..
i have to create a txt document renamed to the map's name and then
put .bat at the end.. the file should become a batch file but it doesn't ... how can I make the batch thing work ??? plz HELP !! x(

Open the text-file and go "File" ---> "Save as..." and give it a file-name that ends with ".bat" and make sure "Save as type" is set to "All files" then just save it and it should be saved down as a bat-file.

I have had that same problem but only with windows vista are you using vista? I couldnt figure it out either with vista.

You don't have an option for "Save as type: All files", like Killer-Duck said?

Yeah i do other file types work on it but i tried the batch file and its a no go

(incase u didnt know, a batch does the same thing)
