Hai,

I downloaded the ZHLT from the SuperJer page, unzipped them into a folder...but can't figure out how to begin the installation process...I clickedy-d on all the little pictures.

Let the abuse begin.

You don't need to install anything, just save your map as a .map in the ZHLT directory and then do the compiling process

Thanks, I have worked through all of Superjer's steps and created my first simple map. My only problem now is the final step to "Press any Key to Continue" in the Command window does nothing. (Yep, I checked, there are no errors...I had one and fixed it)

Another weird thing is that now double-clicking on my CS icon opens Half-Life and not CS... I can't even figure out how to open CS anymore.

My CS does not live in my C drive...it lives in my H drive partition (where I had to move my ZHLT folder to clear the original error)...would that cause any problems?

you could change the properties of the icon to open up Cs

Thanks so much everyone for all your help. I have decided the most hassle-free way to fix my problems is to uninstall and re-install CS into the proper drive, and start from there.

Hopefully I'll get to a point where I can start answering questions!

Thanks again!

Yes, but presumably it is pointing to hl.exe (I don't know, I should check t out as I'm just going on the hl2.exe structure of Source).
