emmm... can any1 help me... in ZHLT folder when i make a txt. document, what do i change the name to, cuz mapname.bat wont let me go into notepad to write stuff down...

I hope I understood you correctly. Left click the mapname.bat and select 'Edit'.

no its not that... it just wont let me enter it says error.... C:\Documents and Settings\"Name''\Desktop\ZHLT\mapname.bat is not a valid Win32 application.

oh and when i open hlbsp.exe, hlcsg.exe, hlrad.exe and hlvis.exe they just flash on screen and off in like a milisecond... any clue whats up?

o nvrmind u were right, i kept double clickin instead of edit sry... but the flash thingy is still happenin

The EXE files are run by the BAT. You don't need to touch them.

Off topic @ Down Rodeo: Is that first sentence correct? Shouldn't the verb, 'run', be in it's past (V2) form? But 'ran' sounds even funnier...
