I made a bet with this guy the summer before halo 3 was going to be released, that the forerunners were anchent humans, based on what I knew from the first two games. He said, "Oh my god, the forerunners are not going to be humans" and proceeded to name all sorts of various trivia.

Long story short, he never paid up.
