Hmm, he could try using LearnVisualStudio.net... or, perhaps, mucking around with the Windows Form Builder could help. It's dead easy and makes the necessary code for you. There are loads of classes available for 2D graphics too.

It would also be really easy using Java, too; I can give some major hints if he wanted to do it in that. Ptolmey Plot is the best way to go with that (and Java's Swing).

Nae bawhair. If he does want those Java hints I have like an entire booklet, obviously I can't send it but I might be able to get a few webpages on it, and I can make a few posts about how to use Ptolmey.

I talked to him today. He said it's for a school project that MUST be in C#. He want's to make an interactive environment where he can place differently shaped objects on different surfaces and simulate interactions.

I have no idea what this means (computer-wise), but it needs to be in C#.
