How do I get it in my map?

I tried to catch it in a bottle and put it in my usb connection, but it didn't show up in my map. Why not?

I believe fog is only available by way of the env_rain or env_snow entity, both of which are rather sketchy.

Other than that, fog appears underwater only.

There's the env_fog entity, but IIRC it only works in OpenGL-mode so people not running in OpenGL-mode would get an unfair advantage.
