Hammer Mapping — Page [1]

I'm making a Counter-Strike 1.6 map, and have already compiled and put it into my Cstrike/Maps folder. When I run Counter-Strike, select New Game and choose the map I have made, CS crashes immediately and I get this error:

I have tried doing a lot of things, but have had no luck.
Thanks in advance, and apologies in advance if it's a frequently asked question, although it wasn't in the FAQ.

I see, thanks for the link. So what would be the fastest way of finding the problem? Because I'm not exactly sure how to work with the coordinates.

Just do what it says in the link... If you have any textures scaled far above 10.00, fix that, otherwise do an alt+p check for problems.
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

I don't mean to ask too many questions, but I'm still not sure how to find the texture that's scaled too much/any other problem. The link didn't really give me a way to find it. I have started deleting things, and nothing has worked so far.

Have you tried pressing alt+p?
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

I did, and I got multiple accounts of:
Solid Entity (func_buyzone)is empty
Solid Entity (func_wall) is empty
Solid Entity (func_rotating) is empty
I selected fix for all of them, and I still get the error.

Does anything still appear on the alt+p problem list?
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

I get the same errors, even when I select 'Fix all of type' and I select Fix for each of them.

it may be something with hammah, save your maps under desktop.
And delete your Hammah, and reinstall it. That may help it should only take about 30 sec,

Go to map->entity report and select a func_buyzone. Press go to. If it selects anything, move on to the next func_buyzone. When it selects nothing press delete. Do this for all the entities listed in the alt+p check for problems.
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

Did what you said, Mate de Vita. And I still get the same thing, which means it's "gone perpendicular to the face", which I'm not exactly sure what that means.

Wait, you deleted the empty entities now? Do any problems still show up if you press alt+p?
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

Select the error and press "Fix all of type", if that doesn't fix it, select the error and press the "Go to error"-button, delete the brush and re-build it.
QUACK! QUACK!

Well, apparently I had an error where Hammer did not save my work where I had deleted all the entities, so the map that I had exported did not actually have those deleted. I did it again, and remade some things, and I no longer get the error. Big, big thank you to Mate de Vita and Killer-Duck.
