I have some cool character models downloaded from maps ive played like mastercheif etc, but how do i make it so my ct character model is master cheif and my terroist is something else for the map im making in hammer? please help and thanks in advance. superjer you have been a tremendous help, than you.

as far as i know you cant have map-specific models using hammer. what you can do is download AMXX for your server and find some tutorial that would tell you how?

what server mod do you recomend. also im having trouble running a dedicated server no matter what i do and what tutorial i follow my friends say they can never join. please help

its prolly because you use a router. find a tutorial on the interweb on how to bypass steam through it.
also try doing sv_lan 0 in the server console.
