Sort of new to mapping for counter strike: source.. but for some reson i cant find my cstrike.wad file.. am i only one getting this problem? :(

Get GCFScape:

http://superjer.com/files/gcfscape129.exe

Use it to open your Counter-Strike Steam GCache file. (...\Steam\SteamApps\Counter-Strike.gcf)

You should be able to retrieve cstrike.wad from there.

Super.. I still cant find it :( iv opened to.. C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps.. the folder after that is my username for my steam account i dont have counter-stike after it :S

I cant explain things very well.. :P

IN the SteamApps folder there should be a bunch of files. You need to open one of those.
