Alright I know I'm a noob and all that crap and yea I just started so now that we got that covered heres my problem err / question. I downloaded a .wad file from the wadfater, actually I downloaded a few of them. I compiled the map jeez took me like an hour to figure it out but I got it. Anyway It opened up steam then cs 1.6. After it did that I went to new mulitplayer game. Clicked on my noobish map cs_noob. Then when It started to go I got this. WARNING: couldn't open cwb_texpak_shogo2.wad.

If you need any screenshots files or anything just post.

You need to copy the WADs you're using to the cstrike folder.

Ex:
C:\program files\Steam\SteamApps\*user*\Counter-Strike\cstrike\

----------------------------------------------

OR change your compile to include the WADs into the BSP file.

Ex:
hlcsg -nowadtextures mapname
hlbsp mapname
hlvis mapname
hlrad mapname
...
