Help! I'm a new user of hammer, and I had create some maps, and compile them,and played them. But recently, after compile a new map, I try to load it in cs, but it jammed! the cs.exe stop responding/loading the map.I don't know what the problem is.......
(sorry,my grammar is incorrect!!!)

Check your compile-log for any errors, or post the compile-log here and let us have a look at it.

complie -log = mapname.log file ,

do you get the thing with the error report ?

if yes then delete the mapname.bsp ( and any other file of your map ) file from your cstrike /maps folder . and try to enter the game again and load a different map ..and if the map loads normally then its because of you map . but if it doesn't then it mite be the game


cause i had the same thing happen and i wasn't because of my map ( i think Non steam does this the most , or if you install some new skins and stuff . and the map just tips it off )

The problem is, it don't generate any error log file(exactly, just no light, I didn't want to put it because it would take a long time to compile the map).

adding light= very long time to compile map= very false
just make a box-_-

nah lights won't make your map compile that much harder .
