When I try to compile it says " System has failed to find file specified" anyone help please?

post ur .bat file

if ur running a win ME or older versions u may have problems

instead of having the .bat file like this

@echo off
hlcsg test.map
hlbsp test.map
hlvis test.map
hlrad test.map


try this

hlcsg C:Program files/zhlt/test.map
hlbsp C:Program files/zhlt/test.map
hlvis C:Program files/zhlt/test.map
hlrad C:Program files/zhlt/test.map

make sure your .map file is in the same folder as the .bat file.
if not,make sure they have the same name(mapname.map,mapname.bat)
