1. Is it possible to move the map?
I mean, like in this picture, move the map all the way down?

2.Is it possible to make the map bigger? Because I'm making my school and I'm not even half way done and I'm soon running out of space in the map.

1. Yes. Go to Edit-> Select all and move your map around by clicking and dragging it.

2. Don't you mean "make the map smaller"? Either way, select your whole (Edit-> Select all) map and resize it with the white squares and the corners of your selected map.

I see your map has 36 spawns in the same place. Are they all spawns for the same team? That can get messy...

Thanks :)
Yes, they are for the same team. I thought I needed 36 spawn for each team? or else how could 36 players play at the same time?

EDIT: The nr.2 just fucked it up :S
Isn't there another way to make all that black thing around the map to go further so I can build my map out?

36 is the maximum amount of players allowed on the server. There are 2 teams on a CS server... You do the math. Having too many spawns won't actually do any damage, but it's just unnecessary.

No, you cannot increase the grid. Its default size should be more than enough, though. [It is a bit less than 9000 units (750 feet) along the 3 axes.]

As I already said in another thread, if you make a map across the whole grid, you'll most likely end up with a hell of a compile time (possibly a few days, depending on your computer) and terrible performance ingame. I'd make it a bit smaller...

Oh and resizing the whole map like that can be dangerous... I think. Because I doubt that hammer snaps all the vertices to the grid when you resize it like that and if it doesn't, that can cause holes in the map or something (as the game will do it in its own way).

36 spawns might be useful if you wanted the players to spawn in different places every round even when having the max amount of players... I guess.
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.
