Thanks for the help, but it seems that an fgd file holds a list of groupes of entities (the one in the link you gave me had some game_ and xen_ entities I think) so can you plz give me a link for an fgd file that has prop_ entities? (Because I need to use the prop_dynamic entity in my map) Thanks

I always hear people talking about different entities that don't exist in my entity list (in forums and tutorials) how do I get those entities so I can use them in my maps? Am I missing some files? plz help
User
I read hundreds of posts about this and it never worked, so please tell me how to do it, I want to make a simple skybox

The name of the thread is wrong, sorry (I forgot to put anything so that title showed by itself).

So what's wrong with my map if it's not the wad file?

Now I get it, the .map file was empty!!

OK, what about the new error?
User
Hey guys I don't know what happened to the first problem, I think I fixed it by mistake, but now I got a new error:

err file says:
hlcsg: Error: Parsing Entity 0, expected '{' got '9'

log file says:

hlcsg 3.4 SSE 2 V2.0 (Mar 29 2009)

----- END hlcsg -----

...(you can realize that the rest is not important by noticing the error here)

So what does this mean? I'd appreciate any reply

I get your point, but it's impossible, I am sure I used the wad files in the "cstrike" folder and in "valve" folder.

And another thing, I told you that hammer crashes when I export my map but I can see the .map file, but I have noticed that the file's size is 0 kb, so maybe that's the problem!
User
That couldn't be the error cause I used multiple textures from multiple wad files. What made you think I only used zhlt.wad?
User
So the problem is in my version of hammer? Or it's my map that is so big that hammer couldn't support it, what caused it to crash?
User
Look I have one last question, every time I press the "export to .map" button the hammer editor stops working and windows shows me this window saying :"windows is checking for solutions", but I find the catpee.map file where I want it to be, could this be the problem?
User
thanx for the help, although it still doesn't work, but I'll just try in other forums, maybe they know how to fix this
User
I HAVE ADDED BRUSHES, it's impossible that the problem is me forgot adding brushes, and is it related to the mapname anyways?
plz reply
