Help with Creating Scripted Events in Hammer Mapping
Here's what I'm trying to do:
A button is pushed, and the roof of a house opens up (via 2 wedges set as doors). A laser cannon rises from the house, then moments later a large beam comes down that shortly goes down the road killing everything. Then once it finishes, the laser turns off, the laser cannon goes back into the house, and the roof closes. EDIT: So I did some research on the env_beam, and it seems like this is what I need to use. But I don't think this tutorial is telling me what I need to do specifically for what I'm trying to do... It's saying to use func_train's as the start and end entities? How do I get these to move then? Can I set up a button to both start the env_beam and move these entities?

Transparency in Hammer Mapping
I'm having this problem too. I've looked over different sites and their tuts, and they are all just about the same. I tried using one of the textures from the half life wad that had transparency, and it worked fine. MY color IS definitely 255 true blue and a 256-color bitmap file, but its still not working correctly...
