i was compiling my map... then i had an error, so i was like ok lets go fix it, and i uploaded hammer, and when i went to file, my map wasnt there anymore to load.. i swear to god if my map got deleated somehow ill be so pissed

why isnt here anymore where did it go!

I have had one occasion where a music file just got deleted from my computer. I assume you're on XP. Make sure that you haven't saved it in a funny place. Also try using the search function on your C: drive. (Takes ages.)

The only thing i could know is click File, and go down to where it says a list of map names

example:

1. surf_ski_2
2. fy_iceworld
3. fy_buzzkill
4. de_dust_4ever

Then click on your map.. If its not there try this:

Go to your recyble bin, it should be on your desktop. Try searching for the map.
